Swing out Sydney presents Same sex swing dance classes every Monday night. Our 6 week beginners course will have you dancing the basics to Swing before you know it!!
Swing Out Sydney specialize in teaching Swing Dance styles from the 1930’s and 1940’s. Our classes are all about having fun, meeting new friends, keeping fit in a fun and relaxed social atmosphere.
Everybody is welcome at our dance classes, and Swing Out Sydney make all members of the LGBIT community feel comfortable if they want to dance as Same Sex Couples.
Stepping away from the traditional roles, guys and girls can choose if they want to dance like Fred Astaire or Ginger Rogers, the choice is yours. We teach as lead and follow, rather than male and female roles. At Swing Out Sydney, you can choose to dance either role.
Don't worry if you've missed week 1, you can still join us on the following Monday.
No partner! No problem! We rotate partners in class, as it’s the best/quickest way to learn Swing Dancing. It's also more social and everyone is very friendly. |
